Meet Casper! This sweet, energetic little boy was rescued out of a shelter here in the High Desert because his time ran out. He's very playful and loves other dogs. Casper's breed appears to be a mix of Bull Terrier and Shepherd. He is neutered, vaccinated, and ready for a forever home. He is a special needs dog because he cannot hear. ROWDY - is a young, possibly only a year old, 14 pound pup. He is a very sweet BOY, and he loves to run and play with dogs his size. Their Bichon Frison friends believe him to be a Bichon x Poodle. VALENTINA, at four months of age was found on a busy road in Apple Valley, CA ... along with her dog house! Her rescuer saw to it that she was vetted, vaccinated, spayed and then found it necessary to have WBNR find her a new home. Now Valentina is only 11 months old. She's a classic mystery mix, breedwise. We've received guesses which include Australian Cattle Dog, Shepherd, Canaan, Tri-colored Sheltie, and Border Collie, as well as, our latest opinion, Smooth Coated Collie! Whatever she may be, she is a delightful and sweet pup. Only because she is a bit lively, she may accidentally knock a small child down; so we do not think she should be placed with children under seven years of age. Valentina shows signs of really wanting to fit in to a loving family. She needs time and patience, positive reinforcement training. She wants to understand what is expected of her. No Cats.
